FISH
Eastern Henrico FISH Inc. (FISH) has served local residents encountering financial difficulties with emergency rent, mortgage and utility assistance since 1972. It is a 501(c)3 organization founded by local churches to centralize the delivery of emergency assistance to families residing in the eastern portion of Henrico County.
Sandston Baptist Church actively donates to FISH by collecting requested donations on a monthly rotation. Watch for information in the weekly bulletin about the current needs or contact the church office for more information on how/what to donate. A donation box is inside the church building near the office.
Online
Online giving is safe, secure, fast, and easy. You can set up one-time giving or recurring giving. Online gifts may be made using any major credit or debit card or by having your gift drafted from your checking or savings account.
Your donation may be made immediately, scheduled for a future date, or even scheduled on a recurring basis.
Food Pantry
Sandston Baptist Church offers a small pantry site adjacent to its Pickett Avenue Parking Lot for the Sandston community to “give what you can, take what you need”. Our wonderful community has embraced the pantry and helped to keep its shelves full and ready to serve needs in our own community. Drop off donations anytime by placing them directly into the pantry.
Suggested donations:
- Shelf-stable items in cans or jars
- Cans with pop-tops (no can opener needed)
- Proteins (peanut butter, canned meats, and meals)
- Diapers & baby supplies
- Toiletries
- Cleaning supplies
